FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately not. Most activities require 100% attention and dogs can compromise the safety of the running of these. I am a dog lover and will consider suitable dogs as part of a bespoke or private walking day only. This is to be discussed prior to booking.
Can I leave my kids and go elsewhere for the day?
No, all under 18's must be accompanied by a PG. I am not licenced under AALA currently and therefore cannot run sessions only for young people without parental / guardian supervision.
What if the weather is bad?
"If it aint raining...."
We will consider an adverse forecast of weather warnings 24 hours before an activity in order to make alternative arrangements. Otherwise walking adventures will carry on regardless of a bit of wind and rain, and sometimes the blustery weather can add to the challenge! I will be closely monitoring the weather to get the best out of the day. You will receive a kit list with non negotiables.
On a rock climbing day this will differ due to wet rock and dangers therein.
How fit do I need to be?
The Outdoors is for everyone. All shapes, all sizes, all experiences. Dependent on fitness levels will differ the challenge and the 'level' of challenge we partake. If you can manage a few miles, don't have any significant injuries or impairment then you will be fine, and we will have a great day.
Kit?
I will provide technical kit, but general kit I will send out a kit list so that you have plenty of time to acquire what we need to have. A basic rule is waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, walking trousers, wicking top, walking socks (!!), high boots (above ankle), gaiters, micro fleece, spare socks, gloves, spare top. Beanie / cap dependent on weather and a rucksack (Dependent on activity will depend the size and if you don't have one one can be provided if advance warning given)
